About the Artist Born: January 11, 1961 in Austin, Minnesota My art is a representation of archetypal symbols combined with revelations from the unconscious to form a visual expression of my infinite self. Symbols such as spirals and radiating suns are recurring themes, alluding to growth and renewal on a cyclic basis. Drawing from the universal energy source, those that view the work will be uplifted and inspired. My creativity comes naturally and I enjoy working in different media. I owe my mental well-being to the creative drive which allows me stay fairly content in a world experiencing rapid growth and turmoil. I continue to explore new creative avenues with a child-like curiousity and a passion for life that burns bright. Other Interests: Computer software and hardware, researching the interesting subject of the moment, experimenting, revising, updating, reading and writing.I feel privileged to have access to new media and to participate in these exciting, changing times. Mozart, Rachmaninoff, Prokofiev, Dvorak, Scarlatti, Philip Glass . . . Appalachian, electronic, trance . . . music to create by. |
